We are currently undergoing rapid growth, and need to expand our consultant base. You will be working with a geographically-spread (national), expert, autonomous and delightful consulting team. We absolutely love our work and know the right person will love it (and us) too.
You have at extensive experience in senior generalist Human Resources and Organisational Development, including strategy and implementation of workforce development, recruitment planning, organisational design, employee relations, cultural development, and change management. You are accustomed to providing advice and coaching at executive levels and in the context of whole of business.
Ideally some of your experience is in the disability or community sector. Lived experience of disability will be highly regarded.
You have a passion for working collaboratively and at the leading edge of HR and OD practice. You love freedom and are seeking more flexibility and new challenges.
As an associate you will work on a fee-for service basis, providing OD/HR expertise to a variety of consulting projects. Your autonomy on these projects will depend on your prior experience in consulting, and the size/complexity of the job.You will receive training and mentoring to support you in your role.
Work is allocated on a project basis according to Consultant interest and expertise. Project size is very varied (anywhere from a half day to multiple weeks) and no minimum amount of work is guaranteed. Projects can be anywhere around Australia, with travel time and costs billable.
This role will likely be our only specialist HR/OD consultant role, so you will bring unique expertise to the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Client engagement – liaison, meetings, presentations;
- Consulting– co-design and delivery of offerings;
- Undertake rigorous analysis of findings and develop comprehensive and clear conclusions and recommendations;
- Prepare consulting reports and co-present findings to clients;
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients;
- Work closely with DSC Directors and team for project design, business improvement and shared learning;
- Develop thought leadership material to position DSC's capabilities and consultancy expertise.
