Business Projects Manager
We love our work, come help us make a difference
Approximately 2 days per week with scope to grow.
This newly created role is for a proven business manager who wants to work in a 21st Century, technologically enabled, virtual team. DSC is Australia's leading NDIS consulting group; our clients and consultants are proud to make a difference in the lives of people with disability. We are growing fast and need you to use the best small business systems and processes to get the most out of our people and projects. You will be working with a geographically-spread (national), expert, autonomous and delightful consulting team. We absolutely love our work and know the right person will love it (and us) too.
- Undertake the business management of multiple projects
- Be highly skilled in using and developing streamlined systems and processes
- Do or delegate all the administrative processes it takes to run a consulting group
- Have excellent written & financial oversight skills
- Have exceptional people and customer relationship skills
- Be innovative and very technically savvy
A day in the life of this role:
You will be using a bunch of different business systems such as Xero, Google Drive, Slack and Harvest to track where each of our many projects is up to and ensure that everything that needs to get done, is getting done. You will spot where we could be more efficient, and fix it or find someone who can. You will be developing rapport and relationships while phoning, emailing, online communicating with clients and consultants seeking their cooperation/collaboration on a task or project. There will always be surprises in your work and almost always someone who is willing to help you. You will decide how many hours you work that day and if you work from a library, a café, our home office or your 3rd bedroom. You will be able to drop everything for a personal/family priority and come back to work later.
While consultants will not directly report to you, you will manage the relationships, processes and systems that hold them accountable for all project components.
