John is enjoying a career change after working in the Disability Employment Services space for the past fifteen years. Until recently he was the General Manager of a Melbourne DES provider delivering high performing specialist and generalist contracts. During his time in DES, John was been involved in writing successful tenders, rolling out unique and innovative programs, and sitting on disability peak body committee and advisory groups.
In the broader disability context, he has assisted with NDIS-readiness transformation of his previous organisation and is aware of the opportunities that exist when a creative approach is taken to service design. John sees the potential in the teams he works with and plays to their individual and collective strengths to achieve the best outcomes.
To keep business life diverse, John also manages a successful Bayside landscaping business, runs a busy airbnb guest house on the peninsula and has returned to his drama teacher roots with ongoing extra roles on the both small and large screens.
Toni is an accomplished business development professional with a diverse career spanning more than 20 years in the highly competitive consumer electronics market. She has led product/service design projects in partnership with health care, aged care, local government, education, employment, domestic violence and disability service providers.
She has a strong interest in neuroscience, organisational culture and change management.
Toni is also the primary carer and recovery advocate for her sister who has an acquired brain injury.
She is passionate about using her commercial experience together with her lived experience of disability to deliver dynamic, client-based solutions and innovations in the evolving disability market.
